ABC News conducted two experiments in which they tested Americans' open-mindedness and tolerance levels. In the following video, we see what happens when a gay couple displays affection at a sports bar.



In this video, we see what happens when a black women is harassed by a sales clerk at an upscale Manhattan store.



It was hard for me to watch these videos, as it hits close to home. One would have to be a fool to think that discrimination no longer exists in this country, regardless of the strides we have made in the last couple of decades. If I would have been a spectator in either scenario, I would have definitely said/done something in their defense. That type of behavior should not be tolerated by anybody and it's so sad that we still have to deal with shit like this at this day and age. Damn shame.

Juelz Santana Clears Up Gay Blogger Comments

Rapper Juelz Santana has been catching a lot of heat for his recent gay remarks:

I think the internet is a plus and a minus. For one, it’s the best promotion, though, in the world especially when you don’t have an album out at the time it’s a beautiful way of promotion, you know what I’m saying? And it’s free promotion at that. I don’t really entertain the bloggers or the comments and stuff like that. Anybody that has time to sit and type at they computer might be gay to me. I mean just typing a comment. You could be typing and talking to somebody, but typing a comment on something that you see is kind of crazy to me.

Juelz claims his comment was misunderstood and issued an apology to those who were offended.



I think that a lot of entertainers are careless and don't watch what they say, because they're ignorant or because they simply don't care, but as soon as they start getting called out for their comments, they feel the need to apologize or claim that they were misunderstood. Right. In this day and age, anything you say or do can and will be used against you, so you have to watch your ass before they tear it up, no pun intended. Juelz seems like a cool dude but he's as ignorant as they come. And though I don't think he meant any harm with his comment(s), the fact that they even came out his mouth makes him seem all the more oblivious.

(Virtual) Keri Hilson vs. Ciara

This is the funniest shit I've seen in a while. Whoever did this deserves props. I <3 it. I guess the Beyonce/Ciara diss has worked in her favor; nobody knew who the hell she was before!



Talking about Keri Hilson, her album, In A Perfect World, was finally released this past Tuesday and is on track to sell about 90,000 records, according to Hits Daily Double. Mhm, not bad for a chick who's album has been postponed about five times and has release about four flop singles.



I personally am not a fan of the girl, but I wish her the best of luck. I listened to her album yesterday and only enjoyed a handful of songs, mostly due to the brilliant (yet dated) production courtesy of Danja & Cory Bold. Nonetheless, nothing about her stands out. She seems like another mediocre, bland R&B chick trying to make her mark, with just a tad bit more cockyness. Meh, I'll pass.

I'm back! Back with a new layout & a new domain! By the end of this week, the blog will finally be accessible through http://ooitzsanto.com! Yay! [lol]

I apologize for the long hiatus, but like I mentioned before, I have been working on a couple of projects that required my full attention. One of them is my photography company, Lemoj Studios, which I'm in the process of getting up & running. You guys will be seeing a lot of my work on this blog! =]

Anyhow, I have two new categories you guys should be aware of now, eye candy & Lemoj Studios. Like I previously mentioned, I will be posting all of my photography work on this blog and they will all be under the Lemoj Studios tag. And as for eye candy... it's pretty self explanatory. I will be posting pictures & photography of some sexy ass motherfuckers (males & females) for your viewing & commenting pleasure! =]

A lot of stuff is on the way! I can't talk about a lot of it but you will soon see! *wink*
