As previously reported, Beyonce is working on the follow-up to her smash sophomore album – “B’Day” – and she’s planning to release it by next year. The latest development in that department is that Jack Splash has been snagged for the project. The multi-talented musician’s CV includes tracks like “Teenage Love Affair” and “Wreckless Love”, taken from Alicia Keys’ latest disc “As I Am”.
Alongside being the lead singer of Universal group Plantlife, he’s also crafting hits on the next projects by Estelle (Atlantic), Jennifer Hudson (Arista), Usher (Jive), Robin Thicke (Interscope) and Jamie Foxx (J Records).
On the other hand, look out for additional collabos on Beyonce’s as yet untitled 3rd album by Tim “Timbaland” Mosley (Nelly Furtado, Ashlee Simpson) and Freemasons: Russell Small & James Wiltshire (Faith Evans, Kelly Rowland).
