Beyonce To Remake Aaliyah Song

Last week MediaTakeOut.com told you that R&B singer Ciara is trying to record a duet with deceased R&B great Aaliyah (using samples from unreleased tracks). Not to be outdone, it now appears like Beyonce Knowles will be working with the legendary singer also.

But instead of doing a duet with Aaliyah, Beyonce plans on remaking one of her most popular songs - One In A Million. According to an industry insider, Beyonce's camp are waiting to get the thumbs up from Aaliyah's estate before they move forward.

The insider explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "[Beyonce] is looking to honor Aaliyah with the remake. If [Aaliyah's] family doesn't want it done, then it won't be done." [x]

Mediatakeout.com isn't very reliable, but I wonder if this is true? Beyonce is working with Timbaland on her new album, so is this remake something she and Timbo have came up with? Hm..
