Eddie Cibrian Joining Ugly Betty?

According to the Ausiello Report, Eddie Cibrian ("Invasion") is set to appear in three upcoming episodes in which he will be playing a possible love interest for Hilda (Betty's sister). Word is that he might be coming back in the fall as a permanent cast member.

Ah, this made my day. I'm a huge fan of Ugly Betty. Huge. I don't watch comedy shows (with the exception of The Office, The Boondocks and Family Guy) but Ugly Betty is comedy to my life. I stay laughing at Betty's dumb/cute ass. Eddie Cibrian = one hot wet dream. What a perfect combination. <3

Kat DeLuna Graces Cover Of Latina Magazine

On being a role model: "I try to show everyone I'm a real girl. I want them to see that you can make it places but always be yourself. I feel like I'm opening doors for the generation sort of stuck between what's Spanish and what's English."

On why she thinks people compare her to Rihanna: "I guess because we're both Caribbean girls trying to make it. It doesn't bother me at all."

On singing in English versus Spanish
: "When I'm singing in Spanish, I feel more passionate. It's just prettier. Sultry. But when I'm singing in English, I feel like a diva. I'm in control—let's go get 'em! It's funny because you'd expect my sauciness to come from my Latina-ness, but it totally comes from the urban American girl."

On forming her first girl group, Coquette, in high school: "I was very strict. Like, 'We can't be late, we're gonna get on this diet.' I always thought, 'The time is gonna come, and we have to be prepared.'"

On coming up from a childhood of poverty: "I don't ever wanna go back to feeling that hunger, or [feeling] limited, like I'll never make it anywhere because I didn't even have one dollar to catch the bus. This is what pushes me to go. I'd say, 'I'm gonna sing to make money soon day I can buy my mom a house.' It's a dream, but in the end it becomes my savior."

Her re-release will be in stores on April 29th. It has been confirmed that a new version of Am I Dreaming, featuring Akon, will be the third single. A video has already been shot.

In the meantime, go watch the Run The Show video. I'll have the scans up tomorrow. =]

New Aids Campaign Launched In Brazil

The translation is "Do whatever you want, but do it with a condom."

This will definitely grab people's attention. I'm glad to see so many new campaigns are being launched, all over the world, targeting gay men and promoting safe sex.

Madonna On Cover Of May (08) Vanity Fair

The new cover was shot at Smashbox Studios, in West Hollywood, by Madonna’s longtime collaborator Steven Meisel. The idea for the image came from V.F.’s editor, Graydon Carter, who was inspired by a midcentury fashion-magazine cover.

Miss Jones Goes Off On Day26

Holy shit, she mad, rightfully so. This interview took place after they appeared on her show on the Making The Band 4 season finale. I guess she feels like they tried to play her out on the finale but the boys put all the blame on the editing, which made it seem as though they were trying to "charm" Miss Jones by telling her compliments such as "you're slim." She got the boys scared shitless.

Michelle Williams' New Single To Premiere Monday

Michelle Williams will be premiering her first single, We Break The Dawn, off her upcoming album Unexpected, this Monday on People.com. The album is expected to hit stores later this Spring.

Both her official website and her Myspace page have been updated. I'm loving this new look and sound. Who wants to bet that Ms. Williams will outsell Kelly Rowland this time around?

British Boxer Anthony Ogogo Poses For Gay Magazine

This is a video of British boxer Anthony Ogogo posing nude for British gay lifestyle magazine, Attitude. It's very rare for an athlete (shoot, even a celebrity) to do ANYTHING with a gay magazine, let alone pose nude. Impressive. I need to get my hands on this magazine. <3

Absolutely gorgeous. He's extremely versatile. He reminds me a little bit of James Marsden ("X-men"). Can you believe he's only 23? He's one of the biggest supermodels in Spain and he's quickly beginning to take over the American fashion industry. What do you think of this up & coming Latino model?

Mila Kunis posed for the cover of our April/May book which is also our first ever Green Issue. We didn’t bother asking the lovely Mila if she recycles, but we did talk to her about her role in Judd Apatow’s new comedy, Forgetting Sarah Marshall. We also got her thoughts on invisibility, Chuck Norris, her gig acting on Family Guy and a lot more.

Chris Brown To Release "Take You Down"

Chris Brown will be releasing the Take You Down as his third single off his album, Exclusive. The video, which hits mainstream video channels this week, had a different video treatment but due to censor regulations, the original video was edited and will now feature footage from his Up Close and Personal tour performances in Nashville Tennessee. Damn, I wonder what the fuck he was doing in the original video that they had to censor that shit? Ahh... I think I know why. Check out this live performance.

The boy can move...
Omarion eat your <3 out.

Chris Brown will be re-releasing his album on June 3rd. The re-release will feature several new songs as well as footage from his tour. Chris Brown will be shooting a video for the Polow Da Don produced track "Forever" next month.

Keyshia Cole's "Heavent Sent" Video

Ugh. I have a couple of comments to make.

1. She needs to stop using Benny Boom. There are 498210323 more talented video directors out there and it just seems that Benny Boom is running out of ideas. All his videos look the same. If I'm not mistaken, he's directed all of Keyshia Cole's videos with the exception of one.
2. Big mistake releasing "Heaven Sent" when urban radio is eating up "Fallin' Out." I don't think this is going to be a big hit for her.
3. The video is extremely boring. I couldn't even watch the whole thing.

I love me some Keyshia Cole, but I'm a have to next this shit.

Beyonce's "Beautiful Nightmare"

A new Beyonce song has leaked titled Beautiful Nightmare. No, it's not a remix of Beautiful Liar. Apparently, this is one of the songs she recently recorded while working on her third solo album, which as of now, will probably be released at the end of the year or early 2009. This song might not even be on the album. But if this song is any indication of the style/sound she's going for with her next project, I can't fucking wait. Her voice sounds so clear and crisp on this track. The song does not sound like something she would sing, which is a good thing. I'm feeling this. ;) Thoughts?

JC Chasez Says He's "Not Gay"

Ex-NSYNC member JC Chasez called Kiss FM 104.7 earlier today to talk about the "gay rumors" that have been flooding tabloid magazines and blogs. JC Chasez's sexuality has become the hottest gossip in Hollywood ever since pictures of him and Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford started surfacing the net. No, thethe pictures don't show them kissing, having sex or holding hands, for that matter. But everytime there's an event, they're both there. Trip to LA? They're both there. Chillin at a Cabana? Yup. They're EVERYWHERE together. Here's what Chasez had to say:

DJ: Hey what's the deal, did you hear all these rumors about you yesterday?
JC: Uh, you know I heard about them this morning.

DJ: Here's what I, before you say anything will you address the rumors?
JC: Yeah.

DJ: What I think is you and the dude...the rumors are that you and Chace Crawford are like gay lovers, but I think that you're just really good friends and hang out a lot and everybody is taking pictures of you guys hanging out a lot.
JC: Well you know what, it's stupid, really...for the record, we're both straight, we're not dating.

DJ: ...each other.
JC: Lets clear that up real quickly and the thing is, we don't even get to hang out that much. We are friends, absolutely, the guy is a super nice guy and he's a friend of mine but you know the only time people would usually see us together is in some type of photograph so they just assume that it's like that. You know people hang out with their best friends every day...

DJ: That's what I was saying yesterday.
JC: ...and I don't even see this guy every day. He's a friend of mine, like I said, it's just ridiculous. The fact of the matter is, if I'm standing next to a girl and I don't have a girlfriend all the sudden I'm dating her. If I'm dating a girl and I'm standing next to another girl I'm having an affair, so now since there hasn't been any of that smoke out there in a minute now if I'm hanging out with a guy they're going to make up a rumor, it's just stupid now.

DJ: Does it bother you to have to chase those rumors down?
JC: You know what, I don't have any control over it. You know, they're not saying anything that's based on fact or at least not in their minds. People say, "they were standing next to each other so in my opinion it's blah blah blah". It's just stupid, it's kind of a waste of everybody's time. Ya know.

DJ: Well you've been with some of the hottest chicks in the world so as soon as I heard that story yesterday I was like come on. But then it was like you were in a cabana together...
JC: That part is actually completely made up.

DJ: That you weren't in the cabana and he was like on all fours and you were rubbing oil all over his back. A couple of buddies hanging out, putting lotion on each other.
JC: That part of it is completely made up.

DJ: Really?
JC: I mean we weren't even at...from what I hear they say we were at the Roosevelt or something. I haven't been to the Roosevelt since the Grammys when I went and saw Mark Ronson play.

DJ: That's not what I heard, I heard you were at the Roosevelt doing yoga poses and he performed a two finger mexican oil change on you JC.
JC: Not even close. [x]

Right. Sounds a lot like what Lance Bass use to say before he came out (or got kicked out) the closet. *laughs* What a cute couple! <3 You can only make shit so obvious.

Day 26 "Got Me Going" Video

Meh, I don't like this video. Seems like it was inspired by that lame ass Damaged video. What's up with all these good songs having cheap ass videos? Willie is cute as hell though. =]

Anyways... I was m.i.a. all week, busy enjoying spring break, thus my lack of posting. But the mutherfucker is back now, so make sure you're visiting my shit daily. If you have any comments, suggestions or feedback (uh ohh), holler @ me. Leave a comment or something. I got plenty of stuff on the way so stay tuned...

New HIV Awareness Campaign

The Gay Men's Health Crisis Organization has launched a new campaign in effort to raise awareness about young men of color who have sex with men.

"They speak to individuals and communities in a language of love, respect, acceptance and sexual health — highlighting what is possible in intimate relationships instead of focusing on problems with negotiating safer sex and getting tested for HIV."

The campaign, titled I Love My Boo, shows men of color "embracing, kissing, and expressing their love for each other in public spaces."

The campaign was launched in New York City earlier this month. Billboards have already been put up in all five boroughs.

Between 2005 and 2006, the overall HIV infection rate in NYC dropped 5%. Yet there was a 33% increase in men who have sex with men, ages 13-29.

Get tested. Wrap it up. Don't become a statistic.

Williams In A Dance Mood On Third Solo Disc

Former Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams will unveil her third solo album, "Unexpected," in August via Music World Entertainment/Columbia.

Music World Entertainment CEO Matthew Knowles played the project for Billboard.com last week and insisted, "It's a pop and dance record, but don't call it dance."

But with its reliance on synth-y, driving bass samples, electronic keys and bopping drums, it's difficult not to classify the record as dance. There's a clear move away from the gospel-leaning direction of 2004's "Do You Know," which has sold 78,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

However, Knowles insists "Unexpected" isn't that much of a stretch, considering the characteristically quiet Williams spent the bulk of 2007 playing the sexy character Shug Avery in Oprah Winfrey's Chicago-based cast of "The Color Purple."

"Destiny's Child fans bought Michelle's last album," said Knowles. "So now those fans are in their late 20s and early 30s. With 'Unexpected,' she'll be able to appeal to those fans and reach back to the 16-year-old audience and hit mainstream pop radio."

"Unexpected" boasts production from Stargate, Rico Love, the Heavyweights, Wayne Wilkins, Andrew Frampton and SoulShock & Karl. "We Break the Dawn" is the first single, set to drop in April, while the Stargate-produced "Stop This Car" is the second.
The set features pulsating beats on "Lucky Girl," where Williams uses a vocoder; "The Greatest," utilizes a martial drum pattern and a winding piano riff; the "Pump Up the Jam"-esque "Private Party;" and the Heavyweights-produced "Thank You," where Williams sings, "While you were out getting yours, boy I was getting mine / I want to thank you for the times you cheated on me."

Here is the track list for "Unexpected:"

"Hello Heartbreak"
"We Break Tthe Dawn"
"Lucky Girl"
"The Greatest"
"Til the End of the World"
"Private Party"
"Stop This Car"
"Unexpected"
"Thank You"
"Too Young for Love" [x]

I'm glad she changed her single to Break The Dawn. I think it's a much better choice than Stop This Car, based on the clips I've heard. Michelle Williams debut solo album, Heart To Yours was a very successful Gospel album, which garnered her some nominations and topped numerous Gospel charts. Her follow-up, Do You Know did not achieve the same success, though some critics said that it was a better album than her debut. After years of pursuing the Gospel genre, Michelle Williams is ready to take on the Pop/Dance scene. Can this Destiny's Child member pull off the 'Unexpected'?

Mariah Carey E=MC2 Album Cover & Tracklisting

1. Migrate featuring T-Pain
2. Touch My Body
3. Cruise Control featuring Damian Marley
4. I Stay In Love
5. Side Effects featuring Young Jeezy
6. I'm That Chick
7. Love Story
8. I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time
9. Last Kiss
10. Thanx 4 Nothin'
11. O.O.C.
12. For The Record
13. Bye Bye
14. I Wish You Well

I like Touch My Body. I don't like the video, but I like the song. The song is inching it's way to the top 10 and the video is on heavy rotation on MTV and BET, already surpassing the success (or lack thereof) of her last album's first single, It's Like That. Will this album match the success of her mega smash comeback album Emancipation Of Mimi? Probably not. Will it be another hit for her? You'd be a damn fool not to think so. Expect a couple more #1 singles.

Albums hits stores April 18th.

Billboard Previews Missy's New Album

An eight-song preview of rapper Missy Elliott's upcoming seventh album last night (March 11) reveals that it is shaping up to be a feast of Elliott's trademark eclectic beats mixed with tinges of '70s Washington D.C.
go-go funk.

Featuring production by Timbaland Souldiggaz, Danjahandz, Timbaland and Point Guard, the Goldmind/Atlantic Records album -- which is due in late May and set to be titled by fans -- includes first single "Best, Best," in which Elliott, repeating the last word to every sentence throughout, rhymes, "We fuss fuss / we fight fight / we make up by the end of the night night."

The Jazmin Sullivan-assisted "Like When You Play The Music," the drum-heavy "Hip-Hop Don't Die" and the sensual "Milk & Cookies," in which Elliott lightheartedly harmonizes about her capabilities in the bedroom, among other things, will also appear on the album. The finished tracklist will likely contain ten or eleven songs.

As previously reported, Elliott has already released two tracks from the set - "Ching-A-Ling" and "Shake Your Pom Pom,"
produced by Timbaland. Both tracks appear on the "Step Up 2 The Streets" soundtrack, which was made available last month. The album is the musical companion the Touchstone Pictures dance film of the same name.

The new album comes two years after her 2006 "Respect M.E." set, which charted at No. 26 on the European Top 100 Albums tally. [x]

Missy seems to be hit or miss with her albums. I loved Missy E. So Addictive... and I liked Under Construction. This Is Not A Test was wack and The Cookbook was mediocre. I don't know what to expect from her this time around. Her singles are ALWAYS hot but at the same time they're never an indication of what the album is going to sound like. That being said, I love Ching-A-Ling and Shake Your Pom Pom.

Bow Wow Flaunts It

Bow Wow takes it all off for Flaunt magazine...

YOU WISH. Hahaha. =]

While I don't see the hype behind Bow Wow's looks (he does nothing for me), I do like this photo shoot. Seems like his BFF Omarion is teaching him a thing or two about posing for the camera. Thanks to my buddy over at Rod 2.0 for the pictures.

Lil Mama's Album Cover

Meh. It's whatever. I really could care less about this chick and her music. -->

Kat DeLuna "Run The Show" Video

I <3 it. It's about damn time! I love the song, I'm loving the dancing, I love the energy; I just love it. The only thing I don't like is the editing during the dance scenes. All these flashes are unnecessary. The video seems to take cue from Busta Rhyme's Touch It as well as Beyonce's Upgrade U. I like the colors, the settings and the "feel" of the video. Considering Whine Up underperformed on the Hot 100 Charts and her album flopped, I'm skeptic as to how well this song will do. Nonetheless, the video is hot. Hopefully it gets some rotation on BET and MTV and hey, who knows, this might be a hit for her.

Ashanti, Andre 3000 and Janet Jackson Pay Tribute To Murdered Gay Teen

15-year old Lawrence King was shot and killed last month at his high school by a fellow student because he was gay. Brandon McInerney, 14, has been charged with murder and could face 50 years in prison if convicted.

Janet Jackson, Ashanti, Andree 3000 and T.R. Knight were among the many celebrities who took the time out to be a part of this serious public service announcement in effort to raise awareness about anti-gay hate crimes.

It feels so good to see celebrities actually taking a stand against something like this, when many just ignore the issue because it doesn't affect them. It's such a beautiful thing when people can come together so that their voices can be heard. It's damn shame that a 15 year old kid has lost his life simply because of who he is. Homophobia is no joke. People fear what they do not understand. They fear it enough to try and get rid of it. They fear it enough that young kids are victims are hate crimes and murder because of the fact that they're gay. Unfortunately, this is the society we live in. It is up to us to take a stand and fight for what is right and fight against what is wrong.

Many of you might have seen Ellen DeGeneres getting really emotional on her show talking about this tragic story. If you haven't check it out:

I'm so with you Ellen, so with you.

Tonight On MMAS, Lost and Reaper

REAPER

First of all let me say I'm excited as hell because Reaper is FINALLY back! The wait is finally over and tonight Reaper will air in it's new time slot (against LOST, ugh) at 9PM Eastern on the CW. Two of my favorite shows airing at the same time is NOT good. I hardly watch TV shows live so it doesn't matter to ME, but it does affect the ratings which is what Reaper needs. Reaper is on the verge of being renewed but the execs over at CW are waiting to see how the show performs tonight (and next week) in it's new time slot. I'm crossing my fingers. If you like horror with a comedic twist, definitely check out Reaper.

Sam tries to save an untalented musician from selling his soul to the Devil to become a rock star. Meanwhile, Sock is stunned when his mother returns from Las Vegas and announces she got married. He refuses to accept her new husband, so he moves in with Sam.

LOST

Juliet is forced to reveal some startling news to Jin when Sun threatens to move to Locke's camp. Meanwhile, Sayid and Desmond begin to get an idea of the freighter crew's mission when they meet the ship's Captain.

I wonder who the remaining Oceanic 6 are? Anybody have any theories?

MAKE ME A SUPERMODEL

I'm not a big fan of reality television but I'm a sucker for modeling/fashion shows and MMAS has sucked me right in. It shits all over America's Next Top Model. If you've NEVER watched MMAS, all the videos are up on Youtube. The difference between MMAS and all the other modeling shows is that instead of the judges picking who gets eliminated, the audience does. It's about the voting; which is beginning to get on my nerves because they're eliminating all the wrong people. Ugh. Anyways, tonight there are three guys up for elimination. Oh, did I mention there's a lot of sexual gay scenes? Who will get the boot tonight?

New Music By Ne-Yo

Ne-yo is back (did he ever leave?) with a new song titled Closer, which is supposedly the first single off his upcoming third album. It seems as though Ne-yo has a new album every two months. This song reminds me of Janet's So Excited for some reason, sprinkled with a drop of Rihanna's Don't Stop The Music. It's interesting how everyone and their momma has jumped on the "dance/club/techno" bandwagon after Rihanna's success with that genre of music. I think that song is OK but like most Ne-Yo songs, it'll probably grow on me.

Britney Spears "Break The Ice" Video

I didn't really get into Britney Spears' music up until this last album. I think Blackout is one hell of a pop album. That being said, it's unfortunate to see what I think is Britney's best work go to waste with cheap videos, wrong single choices and bad promotion. The girl used to sell a million plus in her first week. This album has been out for a couple of months and she's YET to crack the one million mark. Obviously this isn't the same Britney that had completely domination over the pop world a couple of years ago.

The video is corny and cheap. What a waste. I was actually intrigued when I heard it would be an anime video, but this is just a huge disappointment. Then again, what else can you expect after that horrible Gimme More video and that atrocious VMA performance? Ahh..Britney, I wonder if we'll ever see the old you again.

"Gays Are Worse Than Terrorists"

You know what's fucked up? The fact that this is coming from a State Representative. This isn't coming from some random, uneducated person. We're talking about a fucking State Rep. right here. At the same time, I can't say that I'm shocked. I've heard similar comments made by presidents. What else is new? Ignorance is alive and well and unfortunately for us, it isn't going anywhere. I hate how Gays are viewed as a disease; as something that you should get rid off. I'm so tired of these religious politicians telling us that we're going to hell and that our pure existence, is a sin. This chick had the nerve to say that "Gays are worse than terrorists." Wow, I guess anything is better than two men kissing, even innocent people getting killed by suicide bombers or gunshot wounds. Gays are horrible. We should just get rid of them all. Our society would be a much better place without them; less crimes, less suicides and of course, less diseases. *rolls eyes* Well I'm sorry babe, but we ain't going anywhere. As a proud gay man, it bothers me that you would go out of your way to discriminate against us but yet, you do it in secrecy, as if you're afraid you'll be heard. If you really had balls you would've made that comment on national television or on broadcast radio. If you're going to hate, hate loud and proud. Just be ready for the consequences. Ignorance at its fucking best.

Barack Obama on Cover Of Rolling Stone Magazine

Issue is in stores March 20th. I like the cover. He looks like Superman, doesn't he?

Danity Kane "Damaged" Video

What is this hot mess? It looks like someone dropped a bucket of pink paint all over the video. I'm not feeling this shit. It sucks though because I actually love this song. I think Danity Kane has a lot of potential; they can sing, they're beautiful and from the sounds of it, they might have a really good second album on their hands (their first one was OK). I just feel bad for them considering Diddy is the one managing them and you know how that usually ends up. Back to the video, I'm extremely disappointed. What's up with the 2000-esque digital effects? Meh. I'm a need for them to release Bad Girl as the second single and come up with a killer video.

I'll have a review of their new album up later this week.

Wolverine And The X-men Trailer

I posted a while ago that the creators of X-men Evolution were working on a new cartoon series that would focus on Wolverine and his adventures with the X-men. Well the trailer is finally online and it doesn't look that good to me. Seems like X-men Evolution rehashed. Meh. I wish they would remake the 90's series, now that was some hot shit. No word yet on whether or not the show is going to air on Cartoon Network or the CW.

First Look At Beyonce As Etta James

Beyoncé debuted her retro 'do today on the set of Cadillac Records, where she plays legendary soul singer Etta James. Last month Etta spoke to PageSix.com about the hurdles Beyoncé would have to clear to walk a mile in her gold heels. "Etta James ain't been no angel!" she said at the time. "I don't think she looks like me, but that's all right. They can fix that up," Etta told us. And by the looks of things, Beyoncé is slipping into the role just fine. [x]

That was quick. Didn't they just announce this movie like two months ago? I really hope Beyonce can pull this off. I'm tired of the lackluster acting and the constant singing roles but somewhere deep down I know that she can act. I just know it. I'm really looking forward to her role in the upcoming thriller Obsessed. Now that is something I want to see. Until then...
