"Milk"

With all the depressing news regarding the banning of gay marriages, I felt like it'd be great to talk a little about Milk. Milk is upcoming film, directed by Gus Van Sant, that revolves around the assassination Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man to be elected to public office. The film stars Sean Penn as Harvey Milk, James Franco as his lover Scott Smith and Josh Brolin as city supervisor Dan White. Critics who have already seen the film are calling it "phenomenal" and an "Oscar contender." The film will be released on November 26th (limited release) and on December 5th everywhere else. You best believe I will be in New York City on the 26th waiting in line to see this movie. Check out the intense trailer below, followed by an old interview of James Franco on Jimmy Kimmel.
