Chris Brown Video "Forever"

Who Got Eliminated On America's Next Top Model?

Katarzyna. Could you believe this mess? I would've bet all my money that Katarzyna was going to win the entire thing, or at least be one of the final two. What's fucked up is the fact that Whitney stayed over her. Are you serious? Whitney?

I think Tyra fucked up this time around. And I'm convinced that Whitney is probably going to win the whole thing since they haven't had a plus sized model win yet. Kat's picture's this week were better than Whitney's. Kat's portfolio to date has better picture than Whitney's. So what exactly was the reason she got eliminated? Cause although she's gorgeous and has "European features, you just don't stand out." I guess Whitney does.

Alicia Keys Ready For New Album And Plans Next Single

The 2007 chart-topping album "As I Am" is still a fresh concern for Alicia Keys, but the singer tells Billboard.com that she's already actively mulling her next record.

"I've been thinking about the next album since we kind of wrapped up this album," says Keys, who's in the middle of a North American tour promoting "As I Am." The set, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in November, still remains in the top 30 of the chart.

"Part of what I've been thinking about is, 'What are the ways that I want to express myself this time?' When I was just finishing recording 'As I Am,' I said to myself that I want to do something that's totally stripped-down, stripped-back, totally piano-based, singer-songwriter; [a] Joni Mitchell, Carole King type of vibe.

"I might do that, but you never know where life takes you, where the music's going to take you."

Keys says her greatest obstacle to creating new music now is finding a chance to do it amidst a worldwide tour schedule that has dates booked into 2009.

"At this point I'm trying to find the space to continue to record as I'm on tour," explains Keys, who recently canceled some performances due to voice health issues. "That's always a bit of a challenge for me 'cause it takes so much out of me to tour. But there's always that urge to stay creative and write on that more personal side. So the main goal now is to continue to find that quiet space somewhere in the madness."

Keys is also starting to consider her next single, the follow-up to "Teenage Love Affair." She says she's leaning towards "Superwoman," which she feels encapsulates much of what "As I Am" is about.

"This album really has taught me so much about myself," Keys says, "and every day I'm learning more and more. The beauty of 'Superwoman' is that it's not about being all-powerful and ... being perfect, 'cause no one is.

"It's about perfection in our weaknesses and perfection in our imperfection, that we can still keep going and we can still learn and still remain strong. Even when we're feeling weak, we can still be superwomen -- and supermen. I love what that says about all that I've learned this year."

Keys says she and director Gina Prince-Bythewood are still deciding whether she'll contribute any music to her next film project, an adaptation of Sue Monk Kidd's novel "The Secret Life of Bees." Due this fall, "Bees" features Keys acting alongside Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Hudson and Queen Latifah.

Keys has also been tapped to star as the biracial classical piano prodigy Philippa Schuyler in the Halle Berry-produced "Black and White" but says the project is currently in the scripting stage with its release "a couple of years off." [x]

I'm glad she's already planning on recording her next album. I want more tracks like Like You'll Never See Me Again and You Don't Know My Name. While I think As I Am is a good album, it's definitely a step down from her second album, Diary Of Alicia Keys. That being said, the album is selling like hot cakes and it definitely still has a lot of life left in it so Ms. Keys better keep on releasing them singles.

I don't think Superwoman is the smartest single choice; Lesson Learned and Wreckless Love are no brainers, in my opinion. I refuse to believe she's not going to release either song as a single, considering the amount of people who love the two songs. Alicia Keys' record company STAYS changing singles, so we'll see what happens.

I never saw this cover. Maybe because it's from FHM: Malaysia, not the regular FHM. She looks good though... really good.

Britney Spears Out & About

She's looking good these days! Wow, I'm impressed. Supposedly she was coming out of a record studio when these pictures were taken. From what I hear, she's working on a couple of tracks for her re-release. Who knows? She's looking good though, I give her that.

The boys of the Real World XX: Hollywood have no problem with nudity... they'll even shake their ass for you if you're having a bad day (shit, I wish). Will is sexy as hell. Hmm... maybe I should start watching this?

Lil Mama Preps Two New Singles

So let me get this straight. Lil Mama released her first single, Lip Gloss last March (07). It was a hit. She then released G-Slide, which flopped miserably. This past February, she released her third single, Shawty Get Loose, which has been her biggest hit to date. Now she's getting ready to release two new singles... and get this... her album has not even been released yet?! She's released half her album already (well not really, her album has about twenty songs), but I'm wondering if she should've released this album months ago, instead of a year & half later.

Lil Mama has already shot the videos for her fourth and fifth singles, which are What It Is and L.I.F.E. respectively.

The video for What Is It (Strike A Pose) will be released at the end of this month. The song features T-Pain.

The video for her fifth single, L.I.F.E. has already been shot. In my opinion, this is her best song to date.

The Game Featuring Keyshia Cole "Pain"

This is The Game's official first single off his upcoming album L.A.X., which is scheduled to be his last album ever. The album hits stores July 8th.

I'm loving this song. I don't know what it is about Keyshia Cole, but everything she does is straight fire to me. This is the perfect first single. Much better choice than Big Dreams, which was originally scheduled to be the first single, but ended up being a buzz single instead.

Can't wait to see the video for this!

Behind The Scenes Of Michelle Williams' New Video

I'm glad to see her and Solange stepping their games up this time around. Too bad Kelly Rowland didn't.

Janet To Release "Can't Be Good"

Sorry, I just had to use that pic. Doesn't she look gorgeous? Anyhow, Janet Jackson will be releasing "Can't Be Good" as her fourth single off her Discipline album. Ms. Jackson has already released Feedback, Luv (radio single) and Rock With U and neither of them have really caught on. The song won't be released till June, which makes me think they're still going to try and push Luv and Rock With U in the meantime.

I love the song. It's classic Janet. I don't think that this will be a hit for her, especially considering the fact that Feedback had smash written all over it and look what happened. We'll see what happens. As long as she tours, the fans will be happy. I think she's already sold what she was going to sell (career wise).

Next Week On "Reaper"

Next week's episode looks really good. It seems as if though they're finally picking up the pace and taking the storyline somewhere. It's about time we see Sam and Andi's relationship go somewhere. It's about time there's more to an episode than just the vessel and the monster of the week. It's about time that Sam tells Andi that...

Coming To Grips
Episode #15

Preview Of Next Week's America's Next Top Model

Dominique is stepping her game up! Can she make it to the final four?!

I'm rooting for ole' girl. Yea, she might be a little tranny-ish, but I like her. It's between her and Katarzyna for me. While we're still a couple of weeks away from the finale, who do you guys think it's going to win the whole thing?

Ne-Yo's "Closer" Video

Nice little video. I'm feeling the song. Video sort of reminds of Because Of You.

Solange Sets Release Date For New Album

Solange's upcoming album SoL-AngeL & The Hadley Street Dreams will finally be released on August 26th (two weeks after Michelle William's album is released). Feauturing production by Pharrell Williams, Q-Tip, Cee-Lo and a whole bunch of others, Solange plans to offer her fans a new sound which is not only different for her, but different from anything that's out there right now.

"I literally had to beg Cee-Lo to listen to my music but once he did he signed on immediately," states the giddy SoL-AngeL. "We wrote and recorded
'T.O.N.Y' and 'Sandcastle Disco' (produced by Soul Shock) that same week. Producer Jack Splash joined in to produce 'T.O.N.Y' and went on to produce
two more songs for me: 'Would've Been the One' and 'Ode To Marvin,' my special take on Mr. Gaye's 'What's going On,' both of which I wrote with
Splash and Makeba."

For the remainder of the album, SoL-AngeL went on to work with Pharrell
for the finger-snapping, feel-good first single "I Decided," Lil Wayne makes an intoxicated guest appearance on "Champagnechronicnightcap," Bilal helps write and appears on "Cosmic Journey" and "Wanna Go Back," which Marsha Ambrosius of Floetry lends vocals to, and Raphael Saddiq produces the soulfully insightful, "Same Song, Different Man," which features Estelle.

"By the end of the project, I had worked with all of the producers and artists I had ever dreamed of including Q-Tip, Boards of Canada and Mark Ronson," states SoL-AngeL. "When I got a call saying the legendary Lamont
Dozier would take the time out to write with little old me I was ecstatic
beyond words." [x]

I Decided is the first single. The video is being shot by Melina ("Upgrade U" "Do You").

The video will offer the viewer a glimpse of who Solange, the visionary, really is: It is the ultimate pop art piece. Its psychedelic, it’s adventurous, it’s colorful and not so colorful, it’s intelligent, and it’s the inner makings of Solange. [Solange states,] “I love pop art; in fact I am a painter myself and have several pieces under my belt that I haven’t put on display but soon plan to.” The “I Decided” video deals with pop culture from the 60s to the future. It displays SoL-AngeL in settings from American Bandstand, to the Civil Rights Movement, to New Wave, and finally a “Cosmic Journey” future. [x]

I'm probably in the minority, but I like Solange. I'm not a big fan of her vocals, but I like the sound and style's she's going for with this new album. Some of the song titles have me going "what the fuck?", almost as if she's trying to be a bit "too outside the box," but the end result, at least from what I've heard, is pretty impressive. She's always tried to set herself apart from her sister and I think she might just accomplish that with this album.

CNN recently went behind the scenes for her upcoming video. Check it out.

Rihanna's "Take A Bow" Video

Rihanna has finally released a video for her fifth single, Take A Bow.

I love the video. She looks gorgeous. The song is definitely a grower. It's skyrocketing up the charts and it'll probably be another Hate That I Love You type hit for her. I'm still mad at her for not releasing the obvious smash single in the making, Breakin Dishes. I honestly don't think she needed to re-release the album, considering she still has a lot of potential singles left on the album. If Take A Bow becomes a hit and her re-release sells a lot of records, I have a feeling they're going to go with Breakin' Dishes as the sixth and final single.

Preview Of Mariah Carey's "Bye Bye" Video

Like I said before, this is going to be another #1 smash for her. How many will that be? Eighteen #1s? The video, which features Nick Cannon, is scheduled to premiere next week.

Maroon 5 & Rihanna Team Up For Re-Releases

Rihanna and Maroon 5 are teaming up for an ultra-glam remake of “If I Never See Your Face Again”, which will appear on the re-releases of both big-name artists.

“We’re both re-releasing our albums — mine’s out June 17,” Rihanna told MTV News. “This is the only collaboration on my re-release, because I always wanted to work with Maroon 5. They’re one of my favorite bands. When they called me to do this record with them, I was so honored.”

“The song was basically done, but we wanted to try something different, so we had her come in and do bits and pieces,” Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine added. “It came together so quick. The only other collaboration I had done before was with Kanye, and it was the same way. It sounds cheesy, but if the magic is there, if the chemistry is there, you don’t even have to think about it.” [x]

I love this song and I love Rihanna. I can't wait to see how their collabo is going to sound. This is Maroon's 5 next single. Rihanna and Maroon 5 will be shooting the video Castaic, California next week.

"Supernatural" Season 3 DVD Cover

The DVD is supposed to be out sometime this summer. Supernatural returned tonight. I wasn't able to watch the episode but from what I heard, it was really good. Check out the trailer the episode that aired tonight.

Ghostfacers
In a change of pace, Sam and Dean decide to star in a violent, profane reality show named Ghostfacers. The show takes them to the haunted Morton Mansion, and they soon realize they're in over their heads.

Very Blair Witch Project.

Michelle Williams "Break The Dawn" Video Pics

Wow, the video looks hot! And look @ all those cuties. Why is it that Michelle Williams can bring the heat but Kelly Rowland, can't? Can anybody answer that for me? The determination Michelle has is evident in the quality of her music (of her new music). The video blogs, the Myspace posts, the interviews; it just seems as if Michelle really wants it this time around. Hopefully she gets it.

Check out this new video blog Michelle posted talking about her video and other random stuff.

Usher Featuring Beyonce and Lil Wayne - In This Club Part 2

Usher has released a remix (or should I say a "second" part) to his smash hit Love In This Club. The new song features Beyonce and Lil Wayne. Check this shit out.

In This Club Part 2
[Download]

I actually like this more than original. I wonder if he's going to shoot a new video for this?

Alicia Key's "Teenage Love Affair" Video

I absolutely love this video. The song is one of my favorite songs on the album. I think this is a smash all the way around. With the exception of No One and Unbreakable, I've liked every single Alicia Keys video to date. This one is no exception.=]

Mariah Carey To Release "Love Story" As Third Single

Superstar Mariah Carey recently announced that Love Story will be the third single off her album E=MC². The video for the song will feature Nick Cannon, who is also featured in the video for her second single Bye Bye.

E=MC² debuted at the #1 spot this week on the Billboard charts, selling more than 460,000 copies, making it her highest first week sales ever.

Thoughts on the third single? I think Touch My Body and Bye Bye are the perfect single for this album. I think Bye Bye will be another #1 for her. As far as Love Story is concerned, the song has not grown on me. I think she'd be better off releasing Migrate, which is blowing up on urban radio.
